All of our work is scheduled so that we can get your watch properly repaired and back to you in the shortest possible turn-around time. We expertly consider the needs of each watch and are experts in thermal bluing.
1) Complete disassembly of the watch.
2) Careful examination of the movement for proper function.
3) Examination of all pivots and pivot points for wear.
4) Removal of the mainspring to determine setting.
5) Case inspection for wear, proper function and movement fit.
6) Crystal inspection.
7) Cleaning of all parts.
8) Cleaning and polishing of case.
9) Movement re-assembly—lubrication to AWCI standards.
10) Watch re-assembly, functional check, and timing accuracy to 5 positions. We test our watches for 2-5 days post restoration.
Hampden 18S, 15J, OF, multi-colored enamel dial.
Movement—dis-assembled, cleaned, and lubricated, mainspring replaced, balance trued, timed to 3 positions.
Dial—cleaned.
Case—cleaned and polished to lighten exposed brass.
Hands—polished and re-blued.
Before and after case cleaning and polishing.
Elgin 6S, 7J, ladies HC, multi-colored enamel dial.
Movement—dis-assembled, cleaned, and lubricated, replace roller jewel, timed to 3 positions.
Dial—cleaned.
Case—dis-assembled, cleaned and polished, adjusted to remove 7mm gap when hunter was closed.
Ball (Record) 16S, 17J, OF, Montgomery dial.
Movement—dis-assembled, cleaned, and lubricated, mainspring replacement, timed to 3 positions, screws dressed and blued.
Case—crystal replaced with glass
Dial—cleaned
